Learn with superpowers

We make STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) fun by giving kids superpowers.

What's Inside?

Each box contains hands-on exploration tools like magnets or rubber bands, and an app to make science come alive. Peer through your Holoviewer (included with your first box) to get x-ray vision: visualize a magnetic field, play with a hologram of the starship you designed, see how electrons flow and much more!

Peer through your Holoviewer and watch science come alive.

How it works

1

Every month we deliver a box full of goodies to learn about a STEM concept like gravity, electricity and fractions. Your first box includes your Holoviewer.

2

Get superpowers with your Holoviewer. Insert your smartphone into the Holoviewer and look through it to bring science to life. With x-ray vision you can see electrons flow, watch your starship hologram blast off or instantly know what forces are moving your car.

3

Fun challenges in each box for kids to create, explore and tinker. Each month's challenges focus on a new topic and help kids develop critical thinking, creative thinking and problem solving skills.

Sample Boxes

Triangles

Spatial thinking is a crucial part of engineering. In this box, kids develop spatial thinking skills by exploring the relationship between area and perimeter by designing an intergalactic starship. Snap the bands onto the geoboard to model the starship frame and look through the Holoviewer to play with a 3D hologram of your starship and test how well it works.

In this box: geoboard and 10 rubber bands

Electricity

Much of what we use today is powered by electricity, but how does it all work? In this box, kids explore concepts like current, voltage and energy as they learn to harness the power of electricity by making circuits the light up, play sounds and more! Peek through the Holoviewer and get x-ray vision. See how electricity flows or find out why it's not flowing.

In this box: electronic blocks (battery, light bulb, buzzer, switch, resistor and wires)

Magnetism

Playing with magnets is one of the first bits of science most children discover. One of the most amazing things about magnets is the way they can attract other magnets at a distance, invisibly. Your Holoviewer gives you the superpower to see magnetic fields and how they interact with the world.

In this box: 2 bar magnets, 1 horseshoe magnet, 4 disc magnets, 1 metal bar, 2 metal discs

Quadrilaterals

In this box, kids develop spatial thinking skills by exploring quadrilaterals by designing buildings. Snap the bands onto the geoboard to model a castle and look through the Holoviewer to see what it would look like.
